1)  A PR professional’s code of ethics (Fast Company) —  Author Wendy Marx writes that a bait-and-switch by ConAgra’s PR team cast a pall on the industry and reminded us that the PR profession is based on transparency, not duplicity.

4) PR pros out-muscle the press (The Utne Reader) — A Columbia University professor argues that the strength of journalism is dwindling just as the public relations industry gets stronger.  The result, he says, is a news environment unlike any we’ve seen  before.
